Did you know you can download free PSP games? A lot of people have a rough idea, but not knowing where to start holds many of them back. Unfortunately, you can hardly trust the results you get from an internet search these days, so I’ve put together some tips for you!

Tip 1-
Find a decent website to download from
It usually doesn’t take too long when browsing the PSP sites before you find an advertisement or an unwanted popup. The ads will typically offer you lots of different games as free downloads etc, and only when you click on them do you find out what a mistake it was! If you do manage to find your way through the popups to the free downloads you will invariably find downloads of the oldest games you can imagine, at real snail’s pace speeds, and sometimes the downloads will even contain viruses. Great!

Tip 2-
Remember the saying “If it seems too good to be true it probably is!” You’ll also come across a fair amount of the scam sites. These are sites that promise the earth but deliver on very little. They seem great at first, good looking sites, lots to choose from etc, but as soon as you attempt to download something they will be asking for your credit card details faster than you can blink. It usually turns out that their ‘Free’ downloads are only free because you have to pay a huge price for a membership or something like, or worse yet you have to pay a monthly fee to get access to the database. Not exactly the kind of free we’re looking for?

Tip 3-
Pay for quality. There are a few sites out there that are actually very high quality, and will give you superfast downloads of all the games, movies and videos you could possibly want for your PSP. The catch? They will charge you a one off membership fee. It?s not too bad though, maybe $30 or so usually, and that will qualify you for life in a lot of cases. Do you think you could download more than $30 worth of stuff if you had unlimited access to a huge database? I thought so. Sites like these can be pretty hard to find, so if you do find one you may want to hold onto it as tight as you can!

I hope you’ve realized that downloading free PSP games isn’t as straightforward as you may have thought-but don’t worry, put some effort in and you can be enjoying all the free PSP game downloads you can handle!

Brian Kopp’s Alliance Guide ?1-70 In a Week?

You want to find out how to get from level 1-70 in World of Warcraft in a hurry right? Well, my friend. You have come to the right place.

My journey from 1-70 wasn’t exactly a fast one on my Warrior due to real life circumstances. Circumstances such as working 10 hours per day, having a wife to spend time with and for the past 6 months having a new daughter. No, my play time wasn’t exactly “hardcore” play time as many of you would refer to.

You see, I started playing Wow the day that it came out. I made several characters and leveled them all up slowly. Real life kept pulling me away from putting in a lot of time. As time went by more and more real life things piled up. Well, I finally managed to get my warrior to about level 50 by the time The Burning Crusade came out. Then a couple months into release I made it to 60. At that point, I decided it was time to actually break down and look for some help.

I searched the internet for a few free guides. I tried to follow them but there was holes in them where they would forget to explain what quests to do, how to do them. Even if they did tell the quests I still spent at least half of my online time looking up the information on how to do them. Then finally, I came across a pay guide wrote by Brian Kopp. I had told myself I wasn’t going to actually spend any more money than my initial purchase of the game and monthly subscriptions on Wow but was desperate.

So, I purchased the guide sometime in March. I downloaded it, read the instructions and installed the map mod that Brian Kopp includes. Brian Kopp did an excellent job looking at what Joanna did for the Horde and applied it to the Alliance races. The map mod, you ask? YES! That’s right, an awesome map mod. Brian Kopp actually didn’t write any map mod himself. Instead, he tells you to download and install meta map. A completely free add-on wrote for Wow. Then, with his guide he includes a database that you import into the add-on. This database is actually a list of coordinates for pretty much every, single, alliance zone in the game. Each of these coordinates corresponds with a set of coordinates in his guide. For example, Brian’s guide will tell you to go to 34.67 and pick up a quest called Into the Outlands (or whatever). Then, he will tell you to go to 46.79 to complete the quest. With this information you can easily open your map, highlight the coordinates he tells you to go to and simply go there! This makes looking up quest information on the internet obsolete. You will NEVER have to look up the information again.

Not only does this guide give you exact coordinates of what quests to get, where to get them but it also links them together in the most efficient way possible. Sometimes you may have 4-5 quests that can all be completed in one general area. Brian makes sure that you do them all in that area rather than doing 1-2, running back to town, turning them in, and running back. He takes care of all the research for you.

If you’re interested in Brian Kopp’s guide simply go over to his website: Brian Kopp’s 1-70 Guide and check it out. Trust me, you will NOT be disappointed. In about 2 years of playing I barely managed to get to 60, then in no time with his guide I finished out to 70 and now have another level 63 and 60 on their way to the top! Alliance characters have a lot of different paths they can take at this point. Brain Kopps Alliance Leveling Guide offers various tips and strategies for you to improve your game for levels 1-60.

FreeCell Solitaire is an extremely addictive solitaire card game invented by Paul Alfille. It is fun and very skill-dependent. Nearly every game of FreeCell Solitaire can be won with perfect play. Only several FreeCell deals are known to be unsolvable. This makes FreeCell card game much more interesting and popular than solitaire variations like Klondike, where luck is a large factor in the game. With FreeCell, winning depends mostly on skill.

You have a better chance of winning if you plan your strategy carefully. Below you will find several simple rules that can help you to win FreeCell Solitaire on more regular basis.

1. Examine the tableau carefully before making any moves. It is very important to plan several moves ahead. The obvious moves are not always the best.

2. Make it a priority to free up all the Aces, especially if they are deeply buried behind the higher cards. Move them to the home cells as early as possible.

3. Try to keep as many free cells empty as possible. Be cautious! Once all free cells are filled, you have almost no space to maneuver. And your ability to maneuver is the key to this game. Make sure you have no alternative before placing any cards in the free cells.

4. Try to create an empty tableau pile as soon as possible. Empty tableau piles are more important than free cells. Each empty tableau can be used to store an entire sequence instead of a single card. And it doubles the length of an ordered sequence of cards that can be moved from one tableau to another. (If the long sequence move involves both empty tableaus and free cells, it is often called supermove.)

5. If it is possible, fill an empty tableau space with a long descending sequence that begins with a King.

6. Do not to move cards to the home cells too quickly. You may need these cards later to maneuver lower cards of other suits.

Some FreeCell Solitaire deals are solvable very quickly, while others take more time to solve. Replaying the same shuffles in a number of different ways will allow completing the most difficult ones. The more you play the more games you are able to complete. Continue to practice using the strategy above and soon you will find yourself achieving better results and enhancing your enjoyment of playing FreeCell Solitaire.

Sudoku Puzzles are brain teasers that have also been called wordless crossword puzzles. Sudoku Puzzles are often solved through lateral thinking and have been making a large impact all across the world.

Also known as Number Place, Sudoku puzzles are actually logic-based placement puzzles. The object of the game is to enter a numerical digit from 1 through 9 in each cell that is found on a 9 x 9 grid which is sundivided into 3 x 3 subgrids or regions. Several digits are often given in some cells. These are referred as givens. Ideally, at the end of the game, every row, column, and region must contain only one instance of each numeral from 1 through 9. Patience and logic are two qualities needed in order to complete the game.

Number puzzles very much similar to the Sudoku Puzzles have already been in existence and have found publication in many newspapers for over a century now. For instance, Le Siecle, a daily newspaper based in France, featured, as early as 1892, a 9×9 grid with 3×3 sub-squares, but used only double-digit numbers instead of the current 1-9. Another French newspaper, La France, created a puzzle in 1895 that utilized the numbers 1-9 but had no 3×3 sub-squares, but the solution does carry 1-9 in each of the 3 x 3 areas where the sub-squares would be. These puzzles were regular features in several other newspapers, including L’Echo de Paris for about a decade, but it unfortunately disappeared with the advent of the first world war.

Howard Garns, a 74-year-old retired architect and freelance puzzle constructor, was considered the designer of the modern Sudoku Puzzles. His design was first published in 1979 in New York by Dell, through its magazine Dell Pencil Puzzles and Word Games under the heading Number Place. Garns’ creation was most likely inspired by the Latin square invention of Leonhard Euler, with a few modifications, basically, with the addition of a regional restriction and the presentation of the game as a puzzle, providing a partially-complete grid and requiring the solver to fill in the empty cells.

Sudoku Puzzles were then taken to Japan by the puzzle publishing company Nikoli. It introduced the game in its paper Monthly Nikoli sometime in April 1984. Nikoli president Maki Kaji gave it the name Sudoku, a name that the company holds trademark rights over; other Japanese publications which featured the puzzle have to settle for alternative names.

In 1989, Sudoku Puzzles entered the video games arena when it was published as DigitHunt on the Commodore 64. It was introduced by Loadstar/Softdisk Publishing. Since then, other computerized versions of the Sudoku Puzzles have been developed. For instance, Yoshimitsu Kanai made several computerized puzzle generator of the game under the name Single Number for the Apple Macintosh in 1995 both in English and in Japanese language; for the Palm (PDA) in 1996; and for Mac OS X in 2005.

10 reasons why online betting beats going down to the betting shop

Do you still head down the bookmaker everyday to place your bets? Read this guide and you might start betting online.
online, betting, bookmaker, sports, football
Most people assumed that the internet would revolutionise the way we bet, just like the way it has revolutionised many other things in life. However, recent prevalence studies have proved that the number of people betting online is still not as popular as other forms of betting such as phone betting, going down the bookmaker and being at the track. So for those who haven’t quite worked out the benefits of wagering online instead of these alternatives, here 10 good reasons why you should be:

1) Free bets: Due to the amount of competition online, betting companies like to encourage you to join their service in the hope you form some sort of brand loyalty. To entice you they will regularly offer a free bet. This is normally in the form of a matched bet (You put in a certain amount and they will match that amount.) and will allow you to double your money, if not more. Around big betting events like the World Series and the Kentucky Derby these free bets usually quadruple, making them a very attractive incentive. When was the last time you walked into the betting shop and the lady behind the counter said; “Here, have $10 on us”. Most likely never!

2) Compare odds: There are many websites online that allow you compare odds on all sorts of bets from all manor of betting events. You will be amazed at how much odds can very from one bookmaker to another, and by using online odds comparison tools you can seek out the best odds. This kind of information is only available online, but is free to use. If you are sat in the bookmakers all day you will only get the odds available from that specific shop, which may be much shorter than they are elsewhere.

3) Special offers: Something that seems to becoming more and more popular online is special offers such as “money back specials”. This is something an online betting site will offer in advance of a sporting event to gain interest from bettors. This could be something like, if your horse falls or if your team loses on penalties you will get your stake back. This is something you will rarely see offered in a bookmaker on the high street or over a telephone bet.

4) Other betting options: If you know anything about betting then you will have heard of betting exchanges and spread betting companies. These new betting sectors have largely formed due to the popularity of the internet, allowing all sorts of betting variables, with the final result being just one of them. Although these fairly recent betting options have caused controversy in the industry and in certain sports, there is no denying that they are extremely popular and are here to stay.

5) Increased markets: Most bookies tend to offer the popular betting markets, such as horse racing, football, basketball, baseball. With online betting there are a huge selection of bets to choose from including foreign sports betting, political betting, novelty betting and much more. For example some betting websites will allow you to bet on something like the 2nd division of the German Handball league or Gaelic football matches in Ireland. To be able to bet on sports and events that don’t even occur in this country was unheard of until the internet made it possible. This can be hugely beneficial to bettors who follow all sorts of obscure leagues, sports or events.

6) Access to information: It doesn’t take a genius to work out that you can obtain all sorts of facts, figures, statistics, historical data from the internet. This can be accessed very quickly at little or no cost. It doesn’t matter how good the form guide writer is in your favourite paper, its never going to compete with the amount of data that is available online. There are all manor of forums, blogs and reports that can be easily accessed to assist you with your betting options.

7) Comfort: Why would you drag yourself all the way down to the bookmakers(that might be miles away), when you can relax in the comfort of your own home and make your bets. Bookmakers tend to be dreary places with Formica chairs, lacklustre decor and normally a bunch of sorry faces all around. It makes much more sense to put the kettle on, open up your browser and check out the bets of the day.

8) Speed: Provided you have a reliable broadband connection, online betting is instant. No standing in line or possibly missing the start of the race or game. You merely need to locate your bet, select your options and place your stake. This can all be done in the time it takes your to write down your selection on your betting slip. Some may feel that phone betting is just as quick, but you normally have to wait 5 to 20 seconds to connect to a representative. Why wait, when you don’t have to?

9) Access from anywhere: Provided it is legal to bet in the jurisdiction you are in, then there is no reason why you can’t place a bet from anywhere in the world, provided you have a connection to the internet. You can transfer money, place bets, check your account wherever you are and whatever time, day or night. Most high street bookmakers close, early evening, with the odd few staying open late. The same goes for several telephone betting services, and just imagine the bill from your hotel when you have called in half a dozen bets.

10) In-race betting: there is new technology starting to become more and more available online that allows you to bet in running or throughout a game. This is highly sophisticated stuff that is changing the way we can bet quite dramatically. There is no way in the world that this could be made possible in betting shops or even on the telephone.

For some; going down the bookmakers is so habitual it is impossible to change, but for others it should now be clear that the advantages are clear. Increase your chances of winning more bets, play online!

In backgammon you need to be able to alter your play in a blink. Occasionally you will have to restrain yourself from attacking and build your game, other times you’ll need to attack full steam. In the very beginning of the game you need to be aggressive, fast and straightforward. If you can reach your early game targets it’ll help you a lot later.

The early game targets

1. Make points in the homeboard
There are two reasons why this is important. First, it will mess your upponent’s game by limiting his chances to enter from the bar if you hit his checker. If you make to additional points his chances are much worse to get back to the game than if you would have only the six-point. Second, by making points in your home board also means that you those checkers are already ready for bearing off when the time comes.

Please remember that some points are more important than others. If you maneuver your checkers to the edge of the board or very close to it you limit yourself as to which checkers you can move. On your home board the most important points are the 5-point, then 6 and 4-point and then the 3-point in this order.

If you are unable to make points in your homeboard, make points as near to the homeboard as possible. If you manage to block points 7 through 12 you’ll see how difficult it is for your opponent to escape his back checkers. In addition, making any points between 7 and 12 are excellent storage points for bringing the checkers in to your home board.

2. Escape your back men
While you are attacking and building points in and near your home board you shouldn’t forget about your back men. If you do, a few turns later they might’ve got blocked or the distance to the rest of your checkers could be very long and therefore the escape can become a very risky one and could easily cost you the game. Therefore, from the beginning, move your back checkers up slowly towards your home board. Try to keep them in relative proximity to the rest of the checkers.

Doubles are very good for bringing the back men towards your home board. Use half of the roll for that purpose and use the other half making points somewhere else. Sometimes you will be rolling combinations that doesn’t allow you to move both of your checkers well. In that case split your back men. This can be a little risky but if you play safe you’ll never be a real backgammon winner. As soon as you can, bring your back men again together.

Conculsion
You are doing yourself a big favour if you maintain your focus and work hard towards your early game goals. If you don’t you’ll soon find yourself firefighting problems after one another and that’s the type of game you most certainly will lose. So stay calm, and don’t let things distract you from what matters in the early phases of the game.

Blizzard and World of Warcraft Gold Sellers

November 05, 2011 :: Posted by - Game Expert :: Category - Online Games News

Why is Blizzard so against players selling their hard earned World of Warcraft gold? Read more on our discussion of Blizards point of view relating to the secondary market.
World, Warcraft, Gold, WoW, Buy
Many World of Warcraft players today likes to buy WoW gold, items, accounts and power leveling sessions, but blizzard along with other players consider this an act of cheating. Well, you have the ability to enhance your character to a much higher level or better quality items, weapons, armors and other equipment with real money. It’s unfair for those players who does not have the extra cash to spare or would prefer to play it the old fashion way. But for example, we all know what Nintendo is right? Well when game shark came out did Nintendo try to stop or prevent them from selling? No, they didn’t. But of course, for those who chose to cheat the game was not required to play with others that didn’t want to cheat. So that is one conclusion as to why players and Blizzard does not approve of selling or buying gold.

Disruption from Warcraft gold farmers. Yes I’m sure we’ve all experienced that farming now a days have been a little difficult due to the overwhelming population of WoW gold farmers. If gold wasn’t able to be sold using real money the farmers wouldn’t exist and players would probably be able to enjoy the game more. Perhaps blizzard should enforce a law to farming? Or allow players to tag a mob and allow them preparation time to kill the mob they were targeting? Well, Blizzard is not a government and even if so, the government today isn’t perfect either.

Another reason why I can understand players hate the idea of buying/selling gold is because it disrupts the economy. If there is excess gold, then the value of gold drops and the value of the item will rise causing players to spend more gold on the item than what they would normally need to pay. Basic economics 101, inflation and deflation. A player can only farm an X amount of gold over a given period of time. The more gold there is, the more the item will cost, the more a player will have to farm unless they purchase the gold of course.

Well with all these problems involving selling gold, why hasn’t Blizzard done something? I believe they probably are working on a solution but believe it not, farmers do make up about 30% of their population. Somewhere in the back of their mind I’m sure they don’t want to get rid of all subscribers. What they do instead is ban a few at a time and they would be required to buy a new world of warcraft cd key. Extra cash flow for the mighty O Blizzard. Yes farmers and sellers do get their accounts banned. But have not heard of any buyers getting banned however. Lucky for us?

As some of you may know, another popular mmorpg publisher is Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) with their many leading titles including the first MMORPG hit EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies, and EverQuest 2. Why am I bringing up SOE? Because they have introduced the Sony Exchange. The Sony Exchange is a secure market place for players to auction their currencies and items to other players for real cash. In return SOE of course takes in a small fee for themselves. Charming isn’t it? Well along with this new innovative idea, they also of plans of releasing a new game where they will be selling currencies and items themselves. That pretty much just beats the second paragraph of not cheating. But of course I’m sure they will create specific servers where the purchasing/selling of virtual assets will not be allowed.

If SOE is getting into the secondary market why can’t the players? I do wonder if Blizzard should decide to get into the secondary market themselves. Believe it or not, but World of Warcraft subscriber base more than quadruples what SOE has in total. As you can see SOE is accepting the new trend and making a huge load of profit, I’m sure Blizzard would follow up on the idea as well. EverQuest was the first mmorpg hit ever, Blizzard known for their real time strategy games now has the most popular mmorpg as well. I wouldn’t see why they won’t follow and collect some of the cash themselves. Overall, although we do not know of Blizzards intentions for those who buys WoW gold, I can say for sure that I do not know a single person who has gotten their accounts banned for buying WoW gold. Please understand that this article is only a matter of opinion and I hold no responsiblity to your actions. If you are interested in purchasing wow gold, visit http://www.buyingwowgold.com.

Unlike blackjack, in baccarat a player can bet on whether his/her hand or the dealer’s will win. The three betting options in baccarat are player, banker, or tie. Betting on the player will play even money. Wagering on the banker is the most popular bet but it is important to know that casinos charge a 5 percent commission when the player bets for the house. Players shouldn’t let this discourage them, though, the reason the house charges this fee is due to the fact that the banker wins, statistically, more times than the player.

The least common of the wagers is the tie, which pays eight to one. This is one of the least-profitable wagers a person can place at a casino, the house edge is extremely high.

The card values are easy to remember, face cards and ten are worth zero, ace cards are worth one and number cards are face value. A player receives two cards and can only receive one more hand during the game play.

Similar to blackjack, baccarat is a game where a single player faces off against the dealer. Baccarat, even with its glamorous image, is primarily a game of chance. Also unlike blackjack, a solid strategy still does not make this a ‘beatable?game.

Baccarat is considered one of the most glamorous of the casino games. Due, in part, to the fact that for centuries this was a game played by the French royalty and to the fact that it was featured prominently in many of the 007 films as James Bond’s game of choice.

Even though the game is fairly simple to learn and master, it is one of the more popular choices for high-rolling, VIP players. Online casinos offer an array of baccarat betting limits but many land-based casinos only offer baccarat in high-minimum limits and, oftentimes, in a separated area from the main casino to offer the VIP players privacy.

There is an array of online tutorials available for beginning baccarat players.

Diner Dash is all about a young burnt out corporate employee named Flo. She gets tired of running the rat race and so opens up her own restaurant. You can play the game in two modes ?Flo’s Career and Endless Shift.

For the first mode, you will start out with a rundown diner. You play as Flo and your ultimate goal is to open the restaurant of your dreams. You need to attract and serve as many customers as needed to reach the financial goal for the day. If you make your goal then you will move on to the next level with some incentives ?maybe a few new tables, or a new door, or even a coffee machine. The further you get into the game, the more upgrades you get. After reaching a certain level you can open a new restaurant. The Endless Shift mode will let you serve customers until you cannot keep up with the demand. When a certain number of customers leave without being served properly, then your shift ends.

The game does not ask much in terms of system requirements. All you need is a Pentium III 600MHz processor, at least Windows 98, at least 128MB of RAM, and 12 MB of your hard disk space.

The graphics are pleasing to the eyes, very family friendly. It is a refreshing alternative to the violent games which are rampant today. There are a lot of funny animations and even funnier sound effects.

The little upgrades and bonuses you get after each level entices you to do a much better job next time in order to improve the restaurant even more. Earning a certain amount beyond your daily goal will give you even more perks.

Playing the game does not require much thinking ?though you need to do a bit of brain work in order to figure out the best possible seating arrangement based on color bonuses. Skill and fast hands are your best bet in beating the game. To be honest, I got frustrated with this game because I couldn’t get past a certain level and thus couldn’t open up the last restaurant.

If you are not sure you want to buy the game yet, try downloading the free one-hour trial version on Yahoo Games. I am quite sure though, that when the game window closes after 60 minutes, you will be left wanting for more.

With low cost distribution methods prevailing, anime will experience global explosion for the better.
anime, interent, online
Online anime has seen some amazing transformations in recent years. Due to the decreasing cost of anime production software, individuals are now able to develop amazingly creative stories and art. The anime community now has multiple outlets from which they can get a quick anime fix, anytime they want. This enormous consumption of new anime content has allowed the anime audience to interact with creators on a level never before possible. Feedback from viewers allows creators to develop plots and characters that the audience expresses an interest in. Creators can move away from traditional anime subject matter and move into more serious, thought provoking anime story lines using the medium. Or they can choose to tell stories that are more mundane with anime art, they need not stick with fanciful tales any longer. Distribution through the Internet will allow all types of new anime content to be accepted by a worldwide community.

While there will undoubtedly be anime creations that are solely out to shock and awe people to make money from online advertising, there will be new, truly creative works of genius that come from one or two person anime teams. Smaller anime outfits will be able to cater to hungry niches that exist on the Internet. And there is nothing wrong with paying these people for there time and creative output. This will truly allow anime to flourish and use its stunning visual imagery to attract potential viewers from all over the globe. While a niche may seem small on a local basis, compounded over a global audience, it can soon become relatively large. And this global reach will allow many new, small anime creators to show their work to the world. Because of the economics of distributing media online today, creators need not wait for a sizable demand before beginning work on an anime piece. They can create something, quite inexpensively, and release it to the world immediately. If there is demand, they can progress with the story line, if there is no audience interest, they can move onto something else.

And importantly, because anime is such a visual medium, there is no need for speech. An anime piece can convey its message with masterful facial expressions and drawings. That is what made anime popular in the first place, and is what will allow anime to thrive in a global environment. For instance, an anime about a child’s first day at school need not have words to tell a story. The ability of anime to tell stories that are full of emotion is well known, and is one of the reasons why it is so loved. Anime transcends language. Its visual nature can speak to an audience on any continent. The language of the creator can always be translated by the audience, if need be, and then what was once a piece of art that could only be understood by one people can be understood by another. And the translation can continue until the piece is capable of being globally recognized. This translation becomes a labor of love for anime fans and is no longer figured into the production expenses of a Japanese production company. Anime can now become the work of everyone.

Some of the best puzzles games of our time are now available for free online. Some of them are just old classics that have made the transition to the Internet, while others focus on upgrading the old puzzle games to offer new challenges to a new generation of gamers. The great thing is that these are all games which can be played by just about anyone. The concepts involved are kindergarten level, but they require a swift mind to actually master. Anyone with some time to kill should take a few minutes and look online for a puzzle game or two.

There are plenty of old classics available online in one of many new flash arcades. This means that you can play your favorites whenever you want without shelling out any cash. That’s pretty nice, especially since I have deep issues with paying money for something that challenges my mind. Tetris is one of the many puzzle games that has jumped online. Everyone should at least have a basic knowledge of Tetris. You line the blocks up as they fall. If you make a neat row it disappears. This beautiful concept has been in our minds since we first knew about shapes, but it isn’t as easy to do as one might think. Try organizing somewhat random shapes when they’re falling really fast. It can be a lot of fun to properly plan out all of your blocks so that your neat stacks don’t fall into chaos.

There are new versions of these puzzles games online too though. New additions, such as Bejeweled, have actually gotten enough interest to warrant retail releases. The online versions are good enough though. These games take some of the basics of old Tetris-based games and upgrade them for a new generation. In general, they focus more on forming patterns out of random assortments. Line up similar objects, colors, shapes, etc. and they’ll disappear. This changes things considerably though, as the pace starts off at full speed. One has to start thinking and clicking as quickly as possible to keep the board under control. One mistake can cost you a lot of points or even the game. I will admit that this style of puzzle game may be too annoying or fast-paced for some people. It is definitely something different though, and the focus on mental and physical reflexes adds a new level to puzzle gaming. Any gamer should at least give this developing genre a chance.

That’s really the beauty of it too. Just about any gamer can pick up a puzzle game and understand the concept. It’s just matching up shapes or colors, which you probably learned back in kindergarten or first grade. The nice factor is that you end up with a standard “minutes to learn, a lifetime to master?setup, where you may understand the rules but not all the nuances. This leaves something good to come back for later.

If you want to introduce a friend to online gaming, puzzle games may be the best step. They can usually be pretty forgiving and easy to learn, so they’ll act as a good way to get a new gamer’s feet wet. In the end, it does come down to preference though. If you like to play puzzle games, then you should definitely look for your old favorites online while keeping an eye out for a new game to add to the lineup. They’re just a good way for a person to give their mind a little bit of exercise in those spare minutes of the day.
